This Cookie Policy explains how WebAestheticLab S.R.L. uses cookies and similar storage technologies on the website at https://webaestheticlab.com (the “Site”). It supplements our Privacy Policy.

1. What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file that a website places on your browser to remember information between visits. Browsers also support similar mechanisms (such as localStorage and session storage) that we treat the same way for the purposes of this policy.

2. Our approach

We do not use cookies for advertising, behavioural tracking, or third-party analytics. We use the smallest possible number of cookies, all of which fall into the category of “strictly necessary” under the EU ePrivacy Directive. The cookie banner you saw when you arrived is itself optional — you can dismiss it by accepting or declining, and your choice is stored locally in your browser.

3. Cookies and storage we use

Strictly necessary

  • PHPSESSID — a session cookie used to securely process form submissions (CSRF protection). Lifetime: until you close your browser. Set by our server.
  • wal_cookie_consent (localStorage) — stores your cookie-consent choice (“accepted” or “declined”) so the banner is not shown again on future visits. Lifetime: until you clear browser storage.

Set by Stripe (only on the checkout flow)

  • When you proceed to payment, you are redirected to checkout.stripe.com. Stripe sets its own cookies on its domain to detect fraud and process payments. We do not control these cookies. See Stripe’s cookie settings and privacy policy for details.

Cookies we do NOT use

  • Google Analytics, Hotjar, Mixpanel, or any other behavioural-analytics cookies.
  • Facebook Pixel, LinkedIn Insight, TikTok Pixel, or any other advertising-network pixels.
  • Cross-site tracking cookies of any kind.
  • Fingerprinting scripts.

4. How to control cookies

You can clear or disable cookies through your browser settings. Useful links: Firefox, Chrome, Safari, Edge.

Disabling the strictly necessary cookies above will prevent the contact form from working but will not otherwise affect your ability to read the Site.

5. Changing your consent choice
